My Trip to Bond in Motion
  • I spent the day at Beaulieu yesterday with a couple of other like minded Bond geeks. It's well worth a visit! Here are some pics, you might enjoy...All in all, a great weekend, coupled with viewings of Octopussy, A View To a Kill, The World is not Enough and Moonraker, it doesn't get much better :-)

Wonderful pictures, thank you! I'm glad you had a great time @tommychameleon!

Were there any vehicles there weren't on display, you thought would be there?

    Jealousy.

I'm suffering from it right this very moment.
  • I was hoping for the iceberg submarine from AVTAK but that wasn't there, unfortunately.

Good pick. I'd miss that too just because it's such an obscure one. A shame. Maybe it sunk. ;)

  • You've gotta love TLD Aston, what a car. I was excited to see the cello and case, complete with bullet hole too.

Small world - I was also there on Saturday! I only live 5 minutes drive from Beaulieu, so I'll be back a few times over the coming months (your ticket is in effect an annual pass).

The mistake I noticed was the Bath-O-Sub sign from "Diamonds Are Forever" had the "Thunderball" logo on it...I forgive them though as the exhibition is brilliant. Really atmospheric.

And at the nearby Bucklers Hard, I understand one of the boats from "Quantum Of Solace" is moored there.

The programme also states that later in the year, some of the "Skyfall" vehicles will be there too.

Haha, yeah we noticed that one too. I can't believe how good condition TMWTGG car is in, it looked fresh off the showroom floor.

Just been to exhibit yesterday. It was good but over to soon. I think the lay out could of been better with better lighting in areas. And I would of loved to see the cars in settings. But it was nice to get photos from inside the vehicles like the Tuc Tuc and the Q boat. Role on the next exhibit in London

    Must agree with RogueAgent
Nice part of the country and so peaceful - took a slow boat from the Isle of Wight and with only 30 min drive to the motor museum it was well worth the trip.
Even the wife enjoyed the day helped with the photo's, enjoyed looking at some of the TOP GEAR cars as well as cars from the past. The main house and grounds were good and a romantic stroll round the lake is a must ;)
Will be going again once the Skyfall props are in.
If you book through the website you will also get 10 percent off the entry price.
  • Thanks for sharing these! There's no way I can go over to see it, so this is great!

You'll need to upload them, to say, Photobucket first. It'll give you a link that links back to you pictures. That's what you then post here.

    Great photos, @DCisared!

I supposed you're not allowed to touch any of the vehicles in there, right? Man, I want to touch that DB5 so bad... :P
