    He gave it his best shot and thats all you want to see atleast! Federer is a legend in the game and there is certainly no shame in losing to him.

    No, I said Marray. He became Wimbledon Champion in the Men's doubles. I wasn't talking about Murray. ;)

    I had a spontaneous moment of panic
  • Fedex delivered again, the man is a genius. He used to be a bad moody boy but he learned quickly, got over himself and his inner demons and started winning.

    Love him, even his winning choice of his wife. She's not a cliche WAG or supermodel, she's real woman and that has grounded Rog and made him the champion's champion.

    Murray=Meh.

    One tip get rid of mum in your inner circle and you'll win something.

    Turning to Murray, I'm not his greatest fan and I've never warmed to him before but his emotional response to losing showed a different side to him I didn't realise existed. I really felt for him and my opinion of him has changed. I hope he does go on to win Wimbledon at some point. As for Federer = legend!

    It has been a very good year for British sports though, their soccer side nearly won a championship, this Murray player got to a Final apparently, the Olympics will be in London this summer, they should be proud with themselves. Go Brits... \:D/

    It's called Football. We invented it, as we do most things.

    Another Roger with a lucky number seven! Except this one will go on and win eight.

    A shame about Murray but getting to the final is step in the right direction, at least. Maybe in a few years time.

    I blame Sean Connery for not being there to cheer him on like he was a few years ago ;)

    Pity really for the guy today who lost, but I'm sure his moment will come..

    Yup, hopefully so. Murray's a top sportsman with a terrific, professional attitude; something too many Brits (i.e. yes, the English middle-class) overlook because apparently he never smiles. Having said that, I doubt he cares less what they think - and more power to him for it...

    Congrats to Marray on becoming a Wimbledon champion, making us Brits very proud!!!

    I don't think he's quite a champion of Wimbledon just yet.

    We also invented a depressed scottish tennis player....with hindsight I was a bit harsh on the fella.

    If you look at the top three players, Fed, Geek and Yob - they all won their first slams against poorish opposition.

    Murray has had to play Fed 3 times and Geek once - it's a tough time era for the boy. But he's got to man up and do what Geek did....change something and stop being the nearly man.
