From James Bond Lifestyle:

"The exhibition will move one more time later this year to Rotterdam, The Netherlands where it will be open in the Kunsthal from 11 October 2014 - 8 February 2015."

What will be its future then? I live in the US and unfortunately can't go to any of the locations.

Has it been confirmed that it will be it's final destination? If it is? Then i assume it will all be returned to the EON archive!

I think there is a discussion of this exhibition on another thread, but I cannot remember which one ... it may have more info. I need to know if it is coming to Asia, too ... I doubt it, though.

I propose that we re-purpose this thread to add pictures (both online & taken in person) so that people who can't go can see it.

Message from my field agent says after Rotterdam it'll be heading to Madrid (or if you're American that's Madrid, Spain) - opening some time in March 2015.

Don't we have a thread for this show somewhere. I remember posting a whole bunch of pictures and babbling on about being able to cop a feel of some of the original movie Bond-girl dresses and other props....very discreetly and reverentially of course.

I don't know, but if you haven't mis-remembered then your post will be in your profile and that will point you to the thread?

Perhaps you could add a link if you find it. I wouldn't mind a gander at the pics myself

@Anon Anything from your source about a United States tour? @timmer Please find the thread, but if you can't, we'll start a new one.

(UPDATE) @timmer, I think I found it, but I only saw a few in there, so I'd like to suggest adding to this one.

OK but I have nothing to add beyond that thread. The show left Toronto almost two years ago.
If you found the thread, link to it here. There was a selection of pictures in it. I can't find the thread.

    This the one?

    http://www.mi6community.com/index.php?p=/discussion/9824/bond-girls-costume-and-styling-thread

Honestly, I'm not seeing much interest in this. I may go it alone.

That's it. You have found the thread which is about costume and styling, which naturally crossed over into the Designing Bond show.

The Toronto exhibit was at the Toronto International Film Festival, Bell Lightbox facility, which is an exhibit hall and theatre complex downtown.
Tiff Bell Lightbox, ran a 007 movie festival for the entire run of the exhibit as well.
All 23 Eon Bond films were rotated through the run of the exhibit. The early films, right up to DAF, were shown in spectacular 4k pristine digital transfers.
I wasn't terribly impressed with the quality of the other '70s and '80s films. They didn't get the 4k treatment. Looked like Tiff was using original prints that had aged some.
It was quite a time, as the Designing Bond and the Tiff 007 screenings were running coincident with Skyfall's initial 2012 cinema run.
I was overdosing on Bond screeings at the time. At least 5 SF-screenings, and as many Tiff festival shows as I could get to.

The show is spectacular. Its been traveling the world. It started in London, then Toronto, Shanghai, Melbourne, Moscow.
Now as mentioned its at it's 6th location, Rotterdam, The Netherlands where it will be open in the Kunsthal from 11 October 2014 - 8 February 2015.

The show does warrant its own thread, as it changes up somewhat from venue to venue.
What's helpful, is if people that actually live in the host city can post their experience of visiting it.

    We need Rotterdam correspondents.

Otherwise, I am sure there are lots of pictures and info on the web relating to each venue.

From Bond Lifestyle Featuring over 500 unforgettable objects: Roger Moore’s white tuxedo from Octopussy and the spacesuit from Moonraker; Scaramanga’s Golden Gun from The Man With The Golden Gun, Jaws’ fearsome teeth which first appeared in The Spy Who Loved Me; gadgets from Q Branch including the attaché case given to Bond in From Russia With Love; Omega Seamaster watches from Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) and The World Is Not Enough (1999) with built-in special features; and the 1964 silver Aston Martin DB5 from GoldenEye which famously returned to the screen in SkyFall.

We're getting off topic. We must drum up some publicity

    Those are great photos
The thread is now a solid resource for the Show
Anyone with something to add, now has somewhere to go.
Virtually all of those items are the real deal..
    From the films.

What would be really neat (but nigh impossible) would be to get pictures of absolutely everything.
