Following on from MI6's <a href ="http://www.mi6-hq.com/sections/articles/interact_lald_artwork_results.php3">Live and Let Die</a> cover art competition... the next in the season of Fan Art competitions is Jeffery Deaver's new James Bond novel: "<a href = "http://www.mi6-hq.com/sections/literary/carte_blanche.php3">Carte Blanche</a>".

<img src = "http://www.mi6-hq.com/sections/literary/cover_art/carte_blanche/first.jpg"; />

The rules are very simple:

- No EON/MGM/Danjaq copyright images (this means no 'movie tie-in' covers)
- The final image must be at least 600px wide
- The format should be common to a standard book, roughly 2:1
- There is no fixed end date, the competition will be drawn to a close when entries are sufficiently broad and everyone has had a chance to participate

We look forward to seeing the results.

it's not my best effort... i got kind of lazy, and mimicked what was already done with the UK cover - though i expanded on it a little......

never fear, a better one will be on the way :)

Can anyone tell me how to upload a cover that I have saved in iPhoto on my Mac laptop? I'm having some issues figuring it out.

    Sure!

    1) Drag and drop the picture from your iPhoto library to your desktop (makes it easier to find later)

    2) Go to http://imageshack.us/

    3) On the upload form on the imageshack homepage push "Browse"

    4) Push "Desktop" (usually in the left hand menu)

    5) Locate the image on your desktop and with it selected push "Open"

    6) Choose "Do not resize" from the "Image resize" box

    7) Push "Upload now"

    8) When the image is uploaded there is a series of links on the bottom left of the screen, click into the box labelled simply "Link".

    9) With the contents of the box highlighted, copy

    10) Paste the URL that you copied from imageshack into a new reply here at MI6 Community.
