How is felix alive in quantum of solace if he died in licence to kill

im confused because felix is meant to be the same person in every movie so if he died in licence to kill and casino royale is a reboot but quantum of solace isnt how is he alive . I totally disagree with the code name therory but im stuck on this one .please help me

He didn't die in Licence to Kill. And he's alive in CR and QoS because the series was rebooted. #-o
