Dear Moviegoer - We Are Having Fun With Our Titles (non-Bond films)

Along the lines of the Mr. Stamper thread, we are going to take a shot at giving fun titles in different categories to some other films. The Mr. Stamper thread needs to stay for Bond movies only.

Therefore, I am posting @Chrisisall's recent contribution for the Remo Williams flick:

Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins

Bad 50s Science Fiction - This Island Sinanju
Horror - Attack of the Doberman Gang
Educational/Documentary - Meat of Cow Kills.
Comedy - Chiun's Perfect Accident
Romantic/ Emo Teenage Flick - Tapping Janeway's Wrist
Porn - It Makes No Difference To Me That You're A Man

As for me, I have not seen it, but if anyone else cares to make titles for this movie, please go right ahead!

*** And here is where I need member's suggestions: how do we continue this thread? I think we can all do titles for one film, or do them for separate films. It is rather more fun when a few of us do the same film, at the same time.

My suggestions (after this Remo adventure) are: Iron Man 3, Man of Steel, Batman: The Dark Knight, and, well you get the idea. But I also like the idea of doing a group, such as we could do certain actors' or directors' films, like: Robert Downey Jr's films or Christopher Nolan's films ...

Please give me your suggestions on how you would like this thread to go. It is too much fun making up titles to let this die out. Thanks!

    What's the title of the movie? Or ... oh, I see: you are doing him as an actor and not rating one but many of this films. I had not thought of that!

    I was thinking, OK, like Gene Hackman films, then pick a film to give category titles to.
    Like give titles for The French Connection.

    So for another example, Robert Downey Jr. films ... then we all give titles for Iron Man or Sherlock Holmes or Tropic Thunder, etc.

    But, hey, I'm game for whichever way we want to go here. I'd kind of like a consensus from members ... and I have to scoot off to work now.

    Okay all, back home now. So ... do we want to continue this thread? DarthDimi said the first Mr. Stamper thread needs to be Bond movies - we can do other ones here.

    But I'd like your input (please) as to how this goes.

    PLEASE CHOOSE:

    a) Pick a film for all of us to do? or

    b) Pick an actor or director for us to do a few of his films, on at a time (French Connection for Gene, for example) or

    c) Put different movies by the same actor in one round (like has been done above ...)

    Let me know so we can set up the round. I say let's go with Gene Hackman movies for now - I still prefer one movie at a time, but please vote and let me know your preference.

    It's a great idea if we can pick one film/actor/director and go with that. I haven't seen Remo Williams nor am I too familiar with Gene Hackman's films, so I'll skip those rounds- but feel free to continue without me, as you do! ;)

    Action films

    Crime/Mystery films

    Romance/Comedies

    Science Fiction films

    ... like that?

    Meanwhile, as we firm up categories of films, etc. - I am declaring this first round as officially:

    Round 1: GENE HACKMAN films - A very versatile actor indeed. From his debut in Bonnie and Clyde to the Poseidon Adventure, The French Connection (I and II), Superman, Night Moves, Hoosiers, The Unforgiven, The Replacements (personally, I so enjoyed this comedy),The Enemy of the State, the Royal Tenenbaums, and a whole lot more.

    We can do other things, not just actors, later. :) Okay?
