The Brosnan flicks

Brosnan seems to get a lot of flack from folks but I think he made three out of four decent films all so recant for their time. Die Another Day was most certainly Brosnan's Moonraker but on looking back and if your bored and partially wasted its worth watching.... Just wondering what everyone's thoughts were?

Loved his first two, really liked his third a lot, found his forth, err.... uneven. :P

I don't even think DAD is bad it's just not great i think it was more misguided by Tamahori who I think was trying to make something for the CGI crowd. It was too excessive and bloated I think it would have been better with Bond going after those who betrayed him, without the giant laser in space haha

Three solid flicks and one that suffered with a bad script and bad direction. Simples. 3 out of 4 ain't bad by any means. A lot of the flack you see on these boards is rather exaggerated and not a reflection of their status the world over.

I just couldn't believe how much flack Brosnan gets. He kicks Roger Moore all over the joint!

Goldeneye was an excellent Bond movie. Tomorrow Never Dies was pure Bond by numbers. The World is Not Enough is an interesting experiment, but badly flawed. Die Another Day...the less said, the better.

I watched TND the other day along with GE and found myself liking TND that little bit more than GE... It seemed a better overall fit for Brosnan

I think GE is one of the classics, TND goes overboard with the action but is still fun, TWINE I really like but DAD is pretty crap.

So what we're left with (imo) is a classic Bond film, an enjoyable Bond film, a good Bond film and a crap Bond film. Pretty good track record overall.
