Is there a Bond mold?

Does anyone not find it slightly odd that QOS had 2 second unit directors? I really like Marc Forster and think he gets a lot of stick, but what did he actually do?

    Just remember, QoS had ALOT of locations to shoot. One probably worked on location with actors, and one was probably responsible for establishing shots, etc. It always saves time to be able to shoot different scenes in different locations with different actors during a production.

    This makes troubling reading.

    I do love his films though and even think QOS is very good, it's only real major sin for me is that it followed CR which broke the mould.

    I think Forster is best as a small budget art house director. He doesn't seem to manage big blockbusters very well.

    And QoS and CR sharing an arc shouldn't be a big deal. There is no official Bond 'mold', and if there was, CR broke it before QoS. Plus, remember if it hadn't been for Lazenby's big-headedness, Diamonds Are Forever likely would have directly followed On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
