50 Years 007: The Most Memorable Bond Scene Ever [part 1]

To celebrate 50 years of James Bond, I came up with a nice idea: We're going to try to find the most memorable James Bond scene ever. How? Quite simple really. I give everyone of you the opportunity to mention your most -historically- memorable scene per Bond film. I shall give you an example by giving my list first:

01) DOCTOR NO: 'Dinner Scene Dr. No with James Bond in No's underground lair'
02) FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE: 'Rosa Klebb has her kicks; trying to kill Bond'
03) GOLDFINGER: 'James Bond discovers Jill Masterson dead and painted in gold'
04) THUNDERBALL: 'Largo attending the SPECTRE meet-up in Paris; then an operative gets killed by Blofeld'
05) YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE: 'Blofeld kills Helga Brandt by throwing her in the pool with piranyas'
06) ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE: 'Tracy being shot by Irma Bunt shortly after Bond and Tracy got married'
07) DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER: 'Fight scene James Bond and Peter Franks in the Amsterdam elevator'
08) LIVE AND LET DIE: 'James Bond on the verge of being killed by a snake in his San Monique bungalow'
09) THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN: 'Bond sneeks into Andrea's hotel room in the Peninsula...and hits her'
10) THE SPY WHO LOVED ME: 'Car chase with the Lotus Esprit'
11) MOONRAKER: 'Centriguge torture scene'
12) FOR YOUR EYES ONLY: 'James Bond kicking Emile Locque off that cliff'
13) OCTOPUSSY: 'The entire bomb chase of James Bond until he disarms the atomic bomb'
14) NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN: 'Fatima Blush being killed by Bond's pen'
15) A VIEW TO A KILL: 'Bond investigating the oil pumps....then KGB agent being shredded by a pump by Zorin'
16) THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS: 'Opening sequence when James Bond theme kicks in'
17) LICENCE TO KILL: 'Felix Leiter being shredded by the sharks'
18) GOLDENEYE: 'Xenia Onatopp trying to kill Bond with her tighs'
19) TOMORROW NEVER DIES: 'Parking garage car chase'
20) THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH: 'Bond being tortured by Elektra King in the torture chair'
21) DIE ANOTHER DAY: 'The entire fencing scene'
22) CASINO ROYALE: 'Le Chiffre torturing James Bond's genitals with a rope'
23) QUANTUM OF SOLACE: 'QUANTUM meeting up at the Tosca Opera, Bond discvering them'
24) SKYFALL: Very hard, but I'd say 'Silva and Bond trying to shoot the whiskey from Severine's head; Silva shoots her to death'

So if everyone can make up a list like this, I will later count the most popular scenes per individual James Bond film. The most popular, most historically relevant, most memorable James Bond scene per Bond film then goes to round 2. Then from the list of 24, I'll ask everyone to come up with their TOP 10.

    Thanks @Samuel001. I've never seen this topic before. This time around, I'll add a more strict, systematical approach; everyone needs to mention ONE favourite Bond scene per Bond film. It's harder, it's trickier and it makes people think much harder about what scene actually is the most memorable Bond scene ever and has got a potential timeless evergreen status attached to it.

    The ultimate goal? Part 2 of this competition will figure that out, as only ONE Bond scene survives this competition :-).

    My my most memorable Bond scene? Dame Judi....in SKYFALL.

    She got in and/or out of a cars....

    not once....

    not twice....

    but possibly three times.

    Each time as memorable as the feast of last supper... not this time Judas

    LALD Baron Samedi laughing hysterically on the front of a train.
    QOS Bond confronting Yusef and his new gf.
    SF Bond tearing up losing his mother figure next to his mom's grave.
    CR Bond comforting Vesper under a shower
    LTK Bond setting Sanchez aflame.
    AVTAK Bond turning on a fire hydrant on a cop like it was nothing.
    OHMSS Bond cradling Tracy at the end.
    DN Bond using a bamboo to breathe
    TB Bond fighting underwater
    GF Bond killing Goldfinger in the goofy way after all that golfing and golding etc..
    DAD Bond having a beard
    TWINE Bond tied to a chair and being reminded of either Tracy when asked if he lost a loved one before.
    GE The Experience of Love playing after the post cold war realities and sarcasm he had to endure by others around him through the film.
    TND a cat-meowing aomg being played while discovering Elliott Carver's ediffice complex in a helicopter being handcuffed.
    TLD Bond tricking a goon by luring him into a room with Kara.
    FYEO Bond holding flowers downward toward Tracy's grave.
    TSWLM Bomd shooting Stromberg.

    TMWTGG Bond meeting JW PEPepper again
    YOLT gorgeous Japanese Bond girls.
    FRWL Bond fighting in a train.
    MR The snake crushing Bond.
    OP Bond burning the leech.

    i hope i am doing this correctly.. but i am choosing a scene or scenes that i believe are the iconic moments of that movie - and it's a bit like the word association game, when i think of these movies, these are the scenes that either first come to mind, or stand out the most to me... so here we go..

    Dr. No - 2 scenes really.. Connery saying "Bond.. James Bond." / The execution of Professor Dent.

    From Russia With Love - the lead up to and fight on the train between Grant and Bond.

    Goldfinger - Bond finding Jill painted gold on his bed.

    Thunderball - the PTS fight with Colonel Jacques Bouvar

    You Only Live Twice - the killing of Henderson, and the final assault on the volcano.

    On Her Majesty's Secret Service - the "we have all the time in the world" montage.

    Diamonds Are Forever - Bond almost being cooked alive in the casket.

    Live And Let Die - Bond confronting Rosie with the tarot card.

    The Man With The Golden Gun - Bond outsmarting Scaramanga by dressing up and posing as his mannequin.

    The Spy Who Loved Me - the ski chase in the PTS, and the assault inside the Liparus at the end.

    Moonraker - the PTS skydive, and the girl being chased through the woods by the dogs.

    For Your Eyes Only - the car chase escaping Gonzalez's home, and Bond kicking Loque's car off the cliff.

    Octopussy - the whole train sequence towards the end.

    A View To A Kill - any scene with Christopher Walken - but namely, him laughing while shooting his own workers.

    The Living Daylights - Bond confronting Pushkin in his hotel room.

    Licence To Kill - Bond deep-six-ing Kilifer with the briefcase of money.. "you want it, you keep it.. ol' buddy."

    Goldeneye - Bond driving a tank through St. Petersburg, and the fist fight between 006 and 007 at the end.

    Tomorrow Never Dies - the fight in the sound proof room, and Bond's execution of Dr. Kaufman.

    The World Is Not Enough - the boat chase in the PTS, and Bond's first confrontation with Renard.

    Die Another Day - Bond being captured and tortured, and fencing with Graves.

    Casino Royale - Bond executing Dryden.. Bond all cocksure while defeating Dimitrios at poker, "..oh, and the valet ticket?"(lol) ... Bond sniping Mr White in the knee at the end.

    Quantum Of Solace - the foot chase during the Palio, killing Slate, and the Tosca opera scene.

    Skyfall - Bond shot and falling off the bridge.. Bond following and eventually fighting with Patrice.. Silva's first appearance.. the siege on Skyfall Lodge.
