First details of Jeffery Deaver's UK 'Carte Blanche' launch events

The <a href="http://jefferydeaver.com/Schedule/schedule.html"; target="_blank">official Jeffery Deaver website</a> has announced the first details of his UK event tour to publicize the release of the new James Bond continuation novel "<a href="http://www.mi6-hq.com/sections/literary/carte_blanche.php3?s=literary">Carte Blanche</a>".

Thursday 26 May: London
Times+ Meet The Author! Meet Jeffery Deaver, international best-seller and author of the new James Bond novel, Carte Blanche, who will be in conversation with Michael Binyon, foreign policy specialist, The Times. Like Fleming, Deaver has taken inspiration from exotic locations around the world and the new Bond is a fast-paced and action packed thriller. This special publication day talk will give insights into Deaver's work and the world of Bond. There will be a Q&A and book signing. Wonderful Abingdon-based independent bookshop <a href="http://www.mostly-books.co.uk/events"; target="_blank">Mostly Books</a> will host a unique event with Jeffery at the very futuristic Diamond Light Source, the UK's national synchrotron science facility on the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus. Entry to the event is strictly by ticketed admission only, and tickets must be booked in advance. Contact the store.

Jeffery will be in conversation with Stephanie Merritt at the Sky Arts Studio at the <a href="http://www.hayfestival.com/portal/index.aspx?skinid=1&localesetting=en-GB"; target="_blank">Hay Festival</a>, discussing the new novel, his relationship with Ian Fleming and his iconic hero.
