    This was my first idea:

    Original size: http://fav.me/d8f2w2n

My Spectre Concept Art as Teaser- und Theactrical Poster:

Now I put Bond, ... James Bond in an Spectre Teaser poster! It´s a update from a older version! Dan has now longer hair (Spectre haircut)! The short Skyfall haircut is gone!!

Once again, very nice work! Hope you didn't mind me adapting your idea @Daniel_Craig :P

One key thing that's important in fan art is the typography/fonts, as often that can cheapen it IMO.

The fonts used officially by the marketing team for SPECTRE look to be:

First off Gotham as the basis for the main title, and for other misc text too like on the images they post on the 007 Facebook and Twitter pages

Then, on the SPECTRE poster, the date and the 007.com are in Stereo Gothic (see my poster)

And then of course the billing block, such as the one you have @Daniel_Craig, should be in Univers 39 Thin Ultra Condensed.

IMO it's these details like typography that can help make a poster more authentic. The key art I see is very very nice, it's the typography that needs work on quite a few of these, to make them more authentic to what they'd be in reality. Just my 2p of constructive criticism :)

I've previously made my own SPECTRE poster credits, though not using the fonts you've suggested here - what do you think of these?

Not bad but the billing block feels inauthentic. They always have a very distinct narrow straight-edged font, either that Univers one or similar. Either that or try and not emulate the condensed style with a different font and just do it in whatever font, full width, you have the main poster text in, Gotham probably.

007 logo too stretched too, just copy and paste from SPECTRE logo. A lot of the logos on Google images aren't quite accurate.
  • I am glad that you like my work and thank you for your detailed review @antovolk ;)

The tips with the fonts I will put on occasion. Had these fonts used posters already for the billing block my Skyfall. This I had changed accordingly for Spectre and the fonts retained because I did not like the fonts in the original posters hot. Thanks to you I can implement this for my future work. : D

I would also like to introduce the first version of my Spectre posters here. For simplicity, I copy my post from the CBN Forum in here:

Now I will discuss the various versions of my artwork. I have used the properties of photography and the focus moved accordingly to the elements. Large aperture (F 2.8) and the focus on the ring. In the version with the big Spectre Ring in the foreground the focus should be on this. For this reason, the IceQ appears blurred in the background.

In the version with the small ring Spectre I have the Focus distributed to the foreground and background alike. Therefore, in this version the IceQ in the background was sharp.

Now I have the teaser and theatrical poster with a sharp IceQ restaurant in the background. I have to admit that this was the first version of this poster. The thing with the blur came about because I have this image viewed through the viewfinder of my mentally D-SLR. Photoshop offers nice filter to put this photographic touch to the picture elements.

    BOND24_SPECTRE_OneSheet-theatrical-01_zpsj8waeyek.jpg

    Original size: http://fav.me/d8f3qcz

Since now have all the versions, I have to say that the first version (with the sharp IceQ and the large Spectre Ring) is the best.

I use png files when doing logos etc - it's cleaner than taking it from the poster logo

There should be a clean PNG file of the "official" correct 007 logo somewhere...ahh got it

Here's a font that can make the 007 logo in font form.

@MadeleineSwann Nice one :) The layout reminds me a bit of the Robert Mc Ginnis posters of the 60s.
