How many times have you seen/will you see Skyfall

    Just curious.
    I really think you can kill the spirit of a film if you watch it too many times.
    However, there are a lot to said for 2nd/3rd viewings of films etc.

    I'm seeing SF for a second time tomorrow. Saw it last on tuesday, I couldn't imagine watching it twice in one day.

    After seeing clips of it, I probably won't even see it once. It would probably end up with me walking out on it, similar to what I did with Casino Royale. It looks even worse than Casino Royale, actually.

    I watched the clips and the trailers they have released, all of them were bad. I'm not going to spend money on a film I know I'm going to walk out on.

    Yes, he walked out of Casino Royale because it was a bad Bond film (his opinion, not mine), so i guess he will do the same with SF.

    The franchise has such a rich and varied history that there is something in there to suit everyone.

    You didn't offend me, but I very much doubt you have such a good taste in film (sorry if I offended you). Which other Bond films did you walk out of, I'm really curious to know.

    I am seeing it at least twice in theaters on opening weekend here in the U.S.

    I'm going once on Thursday, Nov. 8 for IMAX opening day and once over the weekend with with my family to a standard showing.

    Can you not understand English? I said the only Bond film I walked out on was CR, and I probably will if I go see Skyfall. I'm not just going to go to a Bond film just because it's a Bond film.

    @Dr_Metz, though I certainly don't agree with your opinion of CR and your intent for SF, I nonetheless feel you are entitled to it and the rest of us should respect it. If you don't like reboot Bond, so be it. Fortunately it seems most of the rest of us do.

    I know what I'm saying is a quite unpopular opinion, but for someone to say "You aren't a Bond fan" for disliking reboot Bond is just wrong. That's what really annoyed me.

    Oh, I understood very well (I would understand you in at least five different languages). I just didn't want to believe that someone might have walked out of CR and endured DAD for example. You are entitled to your opinion but I think your attitude... well the least I say about it the better.

    I was able to get through DAD, but that doesn't mean I like it.

    I'm going to see it twice. Tonight, on my way there now actually (just stopped for a drink, long journey), once we get to London and get booked in at the hotel it's straight off to see Skyfall.

    And again next week, I'm visiting my sister and her kid desperately wants to see it, so I'm taking him.

    I can't fathom the idea of walking out on a film. You can't properly make your mind up on a film till its over. Often even when the credits are rolling and it is time to leave I still find I need a few hours or a nights sleep to let the film sink in. You have no right to critique a film you haven't seen all the way through, regardless how much a 1st and 2nd act offend your senses, whats not to say something will happenin the last ten minutes to completely change your appreciation of the previous 90? for example I remember when i first saw the usual suspects, I was so bored but it was all worth it for that ending.

    I'm not going to like a film because 10 minutes of it were good. I was also able to later finish CR, and my opinion on it didn't change.

    I've seen it twice. Once at the premiere and just come out of it now. I'll be seeing it again tonight and twice again tomorrow. Thank God for the cineworld card!

    Once will do me. I have Blu Ray at home and can wait for that. But if I had a cinema card then I would see it multiple times. But I go cinema rarely and the cost of the card would not make it economic for me.
