An outsiders opinion: Jason Statham as James Bond, lol

Another forum I go to frequently is Spawn.com. It's a good place for movie news and the like. James Bond is RARELY brought up, but today I saw a thread by someone- he wanted to discuss the notion of Jason Statham playing James Bond

It's interesting to see 'non hardcore' Bond fans discussing this- and with that, I'm glad they all agree the answer is NO, lol.

    Well maybe if they revive the Die Hard franchise without Bruce Willis, then we may be on to something. ;-)

    I remember seeing that just before the film was released. Kermode did a real hatchett job on the film. And I agree with what he said, other than the title, QOS never proved much of a stumbling block for me.

    I'm a big fan of Mark Kermode and I think its one of his best reviews.

    He really goes to town on it.
