    Man this is a tough one...

    Janssen took the Fiona Volpe character the to over-the-top level of Oddjob, Jaws, etc. I think she really made a memorable impact on the casual fans and us hardcore fans alike, and to me really is the last good 'henchperson'. Stamper was ok, but it seemed to go down from there. I mean, Elvis who?

    That all said, I think I like Thunderball strictly due to every scene with Paluzzi (Volpe) in it. Like others have said, "the original black widow." It's really too tough of a choice and I could vote one way one day and another way the next.

    I guess for today's sake, I'll just go with Xenia. But both characters are far superior to the many others out there in the Bond realm and also in movies across the board.

    I think Luciana Paluzzi is one of the most gorgeous women to walk the planet, but all in all I think Onatopp delivered a bit more.

    Okay, we'll go ahead and call this one, but it's kind of clear that Fiona Volpe is the winner. SPECTRE had a contract out against Janus, and when it came down to the cat fight, Volpe used her missile-firing motorcycle to blow up Xenia.

    I had a feeling! Haha, my vote goes to General Ourumov as well. I found Orlov to be kind of annoying and out of place. His whole "The West is decadent" speech is decent, but honestly, just too zany for me. Ourumov is one of the greatest henchmen ever. He knows the ropes and would much rather be running the show than Trevelyan, and he could do it too.

    A stroll in the park for Orlov here.

    A powerhouse manic performance by Steven Berkoff and one of the last villains with genuine global ambition - also a cracking villainous scheme to boot.

    Ourumov is a decent villain but he gets less and less to do as the film goes on and his death is absolutely pathetic. Not so much blink and you'll miss it but more freeze frame and you'll miss it - his character deserved a better end.

    Not really a fair fight though as Ourumov is just a lackey at the end of the day whereas Orlov is the genuine villain of OP.

    I enjoy Orlov but Ourumov wins on this occasion. Its a fairly small part but one he plays well.

    No contest. Orlov.

    Stephen Berkoff is such a watchable actor.I saw him on the stage in 'Greek' years ago The character of a zealot who wants to upset the detente between east and west is a sharp one. He's a pleasure. I love the little trio in crime of him, Kamal and Octopussy.

    Never got Ouromov. I always thought he was Orlov-lite. And swigging from a flask is as sophisticated as his characterisation gets.

    Orlov nearly pulled off the unthinkable which could have changed the world forever. Ouromov, while good, was just a lackey for Alec.

    Therefore I vote for Orlov because he has a great bald head.

    Orlov completely.

    Steven Berkoff is indeed the real and best villain in OP, the perfect antagonist for the era, his performance manic OTT and thoroughly entertaining. One of my all time favorite bad guys in the series, almost 30 years later it's still much fun to watch him stealing the movie from everyone and he's clearly having a great time knowing he is.

    Nothing wrong with Ourumov, but Trevalyan and Onatopp match up more favorably with Orlov.

    Although I prefer Ourumov, Berkoff seems to work wonders with lots of roles. I've always been a fan, ever since I was a kid, watching 'Beverly Hills Cop' on TV.

    Steven Berkoff is one of the most underrated actors ever in my opinion. He's great in everything I've ever seen. I feel that way about Tim Curry too. If they ever decide to have a man as the head of QUANTUM, him or Berkoff would be incredible choices.

    I only saw Beverly Hills Cop until after I'd seen Octopussy, so you can imagine the surprise, and delight, to find him in that film as well. Though it was not as big as the surprise of Beverly Hills Cop II and III.

    I agree about Tim Curry. They're actually moving forward with a film version of Stephen King's 'It,' and Curry brought such an eerie scare to the TV adaptation that I can only hope they somehow get him back.

    He was awesome as Pennywise, would love to see him do it again but not sure he'd be interested.

    Ourumov did not much at all for me, my favorite scene was on the armored train with Trevelyan and Onatopp, but not much else comes to mind. Therefore, Berkoff wins this round, although I thought he was much better in Beverly Hills Cop the year after
