Yeah, the outlines were drawn out, and the sunglasses fade into the background. I picked the third one, with the grey background. Looks so great, and I really look forward to turning my computer on every time I finish with it now, haha.
  • Some more Marilyn, from one of her funniest comedies :) :

If only I could figure out a way to mat them, you and @Creasy47 would be very happy I am sure.

    No questions on that note!

@0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, I would be happy and broke, my room absolutely filled with your art work; it seems funny, but I'm serious. I would snatch up so many copies in a heartbeat. Get to it if you want to retire at age 25.

    :)) Thanks, I appreciate that!

You're very welcome! No problem at all. In all seriousness, though - well, I was being serious - keep up the great work, can't wait to see what else you have in store.

If you're ever looking for something else to work on, and are up for suggestions, perhaps something from 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo' remake, or 'Man On Fire.'

TGWTDT is on my list, both Swedish and English. Have you seen both, and if so, which did you find better?

I've seen the first 1/4 of the Swedish version, and the entirety of the English version three times. The English version was my favorite film of 2012, but thus far, the Swedish version seems more faithful to the book.

Wow. Beautiful, yet again - the cover, the text, and of course, the woman. Excellent work.

I love doing covers for Marilyn and Bogart films. :D
  • I love the Niagra cover. It's really simplistic...

My favorite Marilyn cover by far is the Gentlemen Prefer Blondes cover near the top. I had this wonderful black and white picture of her, and thought to isolate the dress, gloves, necklace, lips, and hair respectively, and painted over them with their corresponding colors using overlay. I was so happy that it turned out just as I saw it in my head. :)

@0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, that just might be my favorite, as well. I've no idea how I managed to overlook that. She's so beautiful, and I love how she is still in black and white, and the colors are perfectly drawn out.
  • This one was so much fun to make, it's a sin. SEE WHAT I DID THERE?! :D

@0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, do you take great PRIDE in that new cover art? Get it? Do you? D-do you get it?...

Though I can be a SLOTH, I get it, and ENVY you for making such a pun! :))
  • I had a crazy idea to take a powerful photo of Heath in TDK, paint over it in GIMP, and smudge it until everything was blended to look like a painting. It took hours upon hours, but I am finally satisfied with it, and the Batman symbol in flames I also blended. There will surely be a wallpaper for it coming soon. Dedicated to the brilliant Heath Ledger in one of my absolute favorite film performances. Hope you all enjoy. Cheers!image
  • Awesome! For the wallpaper I would remove all the text.

    Exactly!
  • Alright, here is two wallpapers for TDK, one without the title, and one with it.

  • Here are two variations of a Taken cover:

Great work, yet again, @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7. I love it. I look forward to all your work, and as I've said, if you ever start to run out of ideas, I've got a packet of films waiting to be given a spin at your hand.

Nice covers Brady! The first Taken one is my favourite.

Have you thought about covers for Batman Begins or Taken 2, at all?

Batman Begins will probably be done at the time when I rewatch it in preparation for TDKR. Taken 2, however, won't be out for a while still, and good pictures won't be easy to find. I could use some stills released, so maybe.
