I would pick the one from Thunderball, the novel but I can't.

Maybe the one found in A View To A Kill then.
  • The iceberg one from AVTAK. Hot girl, TV, booze, and it looks nice and cosey.

The Iceberg Submarine (technically a semi-submersible boat) from AVTAK. Double bed, TVs, luxury, a lovely female companion to share the journey with. There's an adventure I'd like to relive.

I'll have to go for this one too. Even though the TSWLM submarine would be great also (if the added bonus that Dimi talked about is in it.) :P

Incidentally, the curious sailor whose eyes almost drop out when noticing the unexpected pair of female graces, can be in my service just for laughs. ;-)
  • Iceberg submarine in AVTAK, Mary Stavin is absolutely gorgeous a former miss world.

I'll have to go for 'Neptune' the small sub from FYEO, I saw it on display at a theme park on the Isle of wight when I was young and I feel some sense of loyalty towards it.
  • I'll take the Lotus, as you can also use it as a car... ;)

    12) CARS WITHOUT FANCY GADGETS

    image

If you could drive a car without gadgets (!) from the Bond films, which one would it be and why?

    Over to you!

Aston Martin dbs from Casino Royale. I dont think it had gadjects and I just love that car
  • Here is me with the Sunspel polo and similar looking pants that he wore in CR and QoS complete with the Planet Ocean he wore in CR. I feel its the perfect Bond casual combo. I gotta say, the Sunspel polo is the most comfortable polo I've ever worn. I don't mind getting another one of a different color actually :-)

Sorry @imranbecks didn't see this one earlier, nice combo! ;-)

1933 Bentley Convertible used in FRWL by James Bond. I guess it is the Bentley Mark IV?

Of course I love the DB5 too.

One of the few great things in DAD.

it's a well-sold Ford, so 1) it won't break down easily and 2) if it does there will be plenty of parts and if you're a bit handy you can do it yourself, unlike the Bentley.

Add up the fact that old american convertibles are cool as hell, and you've got yourself a winner.

Mod edit: no MGM/UA copyright images please.

Well, as one of the few good things in Goldfinger, I'd probably pick Auric's Rolls Royce Phantom-33, or something like that, whatever it's called.

I would pick the DB5 in CR (no gadgets) or the Jaguar XJ that is being driven in SF.

    13) NICE GIRLS YOU'D RATHER HAVE SAVED

If you could have saved one nice girl who unfortunately died in the Bond films, which one would it be and why?

Fields. I'd love to have an older (but not too much) girlfriend :)
  • I'd go with Fields too. She's hot.

So many! Corrinne. No one should die mauled by dogs. Plus she seemed nice.

Vesper of course, Bnd's first real love. But then they'd live happily ever after and we'd have no more Bond stories.

Tilly Masterson (if I don't have thne names mixed up again). Trying to save her sister.

Countess (I forget her name) in FYEO (played by Pierce's first real life wife, Cassandra Harris) - nice character, seemed down to earth and harmless.

Plenty O'Toole - rather brainless and harmless; how was she a real threat to anyone?

.. and many more; I'll get back to you on that ...

Not so sure she qualifies as a 'nice girl' ;-).

My own choice would certainly be either Aki, Fields, Della, Vesper or Corinne. (Two Frenchies, get that ;-)). Okay, Corinne is my Lois Lane: I'd pay most effort to save her from the painful death that became her. Interesting sidenote, only Aki and Vesper died while on screen...

    Fields, Paula and Della.
