I wonder if he had a daughter. (i don't like so much of sons, lol) and if, in the middle of the film, she was in danger as the villain wanted to capture or kill her, and Bond needed to protect her, or something like that. Anyway, lol...

I Know that it would be an unnecessary thing, because it wouldn't be a fixed thing on the movies, but I would like to know if that would happen. Bond could really have a daughter as he slept with lot of women, and the daughter could came from a Bad, either Good Bond girls.

Would he quit MI-6 to take care of her? Would he ask fomr MI-6 to protect her while he was working? Would he forgot about her?

What could happen, In YOUR opinion?

  • that would seem to be too similar to 24 Jack Bauer protecting his daughter Kim...........

Yes yes, it would look very close to that. Well, at least at just one movie.

I had an idea similar to this a few months ago, and planned on writing a fanfic about it. Basically, it would be a kind of mixture of the Alex Rider novels and the Craig era, and involved an illegitimate daughter of Bond, born and raised in the US (after a tryst on one of Bond's previous missions), who was contracted by MI6 after a threat to high schools was discovered. Bond was in the story, and had taken up the mantle of M, but the daughter wouldn't know until the end of the story.

I decided this would be an illegitimate daughter because I'd still love to know how, in all of the Fleming and post-Fleming novels, Bond hadn't had close to fifty (or more) illegitimate kids.

Was it ever hinted, in the novel(s),that the torture in Casino Royale left Bond unable to father children?

I have always wanted to do a Bond fan fiction where Bond has 20+ kids from all the times he has had sex in the films.

I remember Saturday Night Live did a bit where Bond had STD's that could not be identified.

lol I remember that. He had to call all the people he had sex with, that included Batman and Robin!

    :))

James Bond a daughter? No. A son? No. A nephew? No! NO! NOOOO!!

The more people try to expand on Bond's personal world, bringing in soap opera elements like relatives to worry about, the more we lose the essence of Fleming's creation.

Let's face it. Bond got married once. And in one of the more dramatic punches of the series said marriage got terminated rather ruthlessly within the hour. It’s as if Fleming tried to tell us that any attempt to push Bond into a somewhat normal life, thriving on the stability of a family bond, is cursed and will only be dealt with in desperate measures.

Wasn't there an actual cartoon show called "James Bond JR."? Although I think it was his nephew, not his son. I never seen it so I can't say for sure.

There was, aimed at children. Ridiculous in concept though I must admit I have fond memories to watching it as a kid. Needless to say of course that there's no room whatsoever for this in the 'grown-up' universe of Bond.

If introducing a daughter or a son is the only way left to go, I'd prefer they quit putting out Bond films altogether. There’s only so much we can take and the minute they start smearing Fleming’s legacy with horse bugger, I’m out.

You Only Live Twice (novel) ends with... I forget the Bond girl in that, but her last name's Suzuki... anyway, it ends with Ms. Suzuki pregnant with Bond's son. John Pearson's Bond biography lists his son as "James Suzuki" (wow, real imagination there, John), and Raymond Benson wrote a short story, "Blast from the Past" that involved him in some way.

Wait... so Ian Fleming wrote, in "You Only Live Twice" novel, that Bond actually got a women pregnant??? So James Bond has a son in the books???

Bond never found out as he's suffered memory loss. Bond leaves without knowing and the memory/brain wash plot is picked up in the next novel, The Man With The Golden Gun.

Would love to see a scene with a son/daughter where he/she is getting picked on by peers and they say " My dad's bigger than your dad". Bond junior then goes "wanna bet".

If it were in the Sir Rog-Bond universe, he'd probably try and shag her, let's be honest...

I can't rember where I read it but I saw a joke once. Where bond walks out side every school in london and a kid comes out telling him he is their father. (Amit a bad joke..)

    Okay that's really,really wrong.

I doubt it. Bond may visit the 'real world' for a while but at heart he'll always remain the same and move back to where he was. Even his last novel, The Man With The Golden Gun showed that and I believe Bond would have continued along that route.

I also believe that in "Blast with the Past" (the Benson short story), the son died.
  • With all the women he's slept with its possible that he has a kid somewhere. But still, I'd rather he had a daughter than a son. If he had a son then I'm sure the film writers would just make him out to be a mini bond.

that's the reason why i prefer a daughter. a mini bond's not quite good for the series. although his "daughter" would enter any agency too.

Ahh ... not necessarily; I was thinking one of the good guys/gals of the world - oh wait, Bond is essentially a hit man, isn't he?
Well, I think she would find her own unique profession and hopefully some moral compass (why? oh just because this is my fantasy, ok?) AND she would undoubtedly have inborn sophistication and coordination. Just my image of her. And she would love skiing, shooting, driving a fast car on winding roads in europe, helping children, animals, old people, and reading a good novel. There: a well rounded girl out to save the world!

She'd be Tara Chace of Queen&Country.

Overall I'm not fond of Bond having children and relatives in general (hated Blast From The Past and the uncle Gardner came up with; can't stand the idea of Bond having a brother as Pearson invented; also it's never mentioned by Fleming Bond fathers a son in YOLT, just that Kissy is pregnant, end of; the son was Pearson's invention).

If Bond had a kid and would learn of her being in danger I have no doubt he'd leave immediately to help her. S** the service and M, he wouldn't hesitate.

I often thought it might be interesting if some party was trying to lean on Bond by
simply making up a relative and thus get Bond to comply.
