    A VIEW TO A KILL without a doubt, it is the better story and unlike qos it has original stunts.

    Qos suffers from redoing two stunts that have been done much better in the RM era than in DC's era (bailing a plane without a chute and boat racing). And for the rest the Bourne sequels beat qos in actionscenes every time which is kinda unforgivable when we are talking Bondmovies.

    QOS is going to go down in franchise history as forgettable. AVTAK is memorable for the wrong reasons.

    QOS for the ability to block it out of my mind easier.

    Well QoS had too large a quantum of Bourne, but sadly not its qualities. O:-)

    Original stunts huh? QoS actually has the Bond actor performing them however, while AVTAK has about 80% of Moore's stunt doubles, and Rog at 20% which would virtually be talking parts in the worry that he would exhaust himself if he so much as moved at 5 miles an hour.

    I like AVTAK just fine for the most part, but Sir Roger was obviously way past his prime. Kudos for the storyline being ahead of time, but without Walken and Gray and a Barry soundtrack that spawned a classic crossover song, there really isn't much and I have it at #17. The latter features a better lead actor, Arnold does a nice soundtrack, and it makes a solid companion piece to the classic Casino Royale as it does make you think about future battles with Quantum while wrapping his story with the CR characters. My pick is Quantum Of Solace.

    Yes the jump out of the plane looks very Un CGI, as in NOT. And it is a poor mans repeat of a far better stunt as performed in MR.

    The boat race that made NO sense whatsoever nor did it fullfill a purpose. Now talking about that boatrace in LALD which is pretty exciting and fun.

    Better in every way imo and my preference for Moore over Craig is an important factor. Though if I had to watch a Bond film after having not seen one in months and it was a toss up between these two, I would watch AVTAK just because it's more Bondian and enjoyable.

    An interesting one, two films I enjoy. AVTAK is, for me, a really enjoyable movie, despite it's negative aspects. Theres still a lot about it to make it a really good movie.

    Having said that, Moonraker just has the edge in this one. Moore was in his prime. the locations are fabulous. Michael Lonsdale is brilliant. The script really showcases Moore's talents and his comedic portrayal. Just a great bond film. What I will say about MR is that Jaws return was a bit of a damp squib (though can see why they did it). Also think Lois Chiles is a bit boring.

    Moonraker it is for me :)

    In my opinion, the #3 best Bond movie of the series, following just behind FRWL and GE as my top 3. For a while I tried to put it lower in my rankings to make way for others, but I realized after watching it on Friday night that it really is my #3 favorite. Roger Moore is simply a beast in his last outing, Max Zorin makes for one of the best main villains in the entire series, the soundtrack is so hum-worthy, it's dark and eerie, and the finale pulls out all the stops! Blows MR out of the water in practically every way.

    Anyhow my vote is most definitely for Moonraker. Moore's still in his prime here, Holly is an infinitely superior leading lady to Stacy, stronger villain in Drax, faster and smoother direction from Lewis Gilbert, far more exotic locations, a more insidious evil scheme from the villain and just a slicker, more fast paced and confident adventure film all-round. The only areas where AVTAK trumps it for me is in the title song department and I believe Zorin's French chateau is more impressive than Drax's French chateau(although both are gorgeous).

    Other than that MR all the way.
