i own a MAC too... how do you go about changing the look of folders?... i would to do up some custom ones.

Control+Click on your folder > Get Info > (make sure you have a picture copied) Click on the folder icon > Command+V

I have Photoshop on my Mac, so I got rid of the white in the background of the picture. If you can, you might want to do the same.

And to get rid of the folder title, I just put a lot of spaces.

We're mostly guys here... But that would be a bit too obvious. Wouldn't want the girlfriend to stumble across that.

    wallpaper yes.

And I love it! Mine is constantly anime themed. ;-)

  • Glad to hear it Dimi, I usually changed it up with what ever anime has my interests at the time. Its usually a Bleach wallpaper with Rukia standing in front of the moon, but given my current status with Full Metal Panic, this current wallpaper is in place. My brother and I are watching Full Metal Panic( all three seasons) again and it is extremely fun. Such a great and funny show. And yes....It's not a problem.

Mine is either based on The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya, Ghost In The Shell, Akira, Cowboy Bebop or Noir. I found some excellent wallpapers over the years and I shift through them all the time. No-one has the right to criticise that!

My desktop is the very boring and normal 'Azul'. Maybe I'll change it to something more Bond for next year.

Sorry, that information is highly classified. ;)

What I can tell you is that it's just a little joke I added in post-screenshot. Apart from that, the rest of it is my real desktop. :D

I really wish I could say I have access to detailed files on KTBEU- considering I never got to see that incarnation. Oh, well. I hope this current site doesn't suffer a similar fate. Goldfingers crossed.
  • Here's the one I've had for quite a while now, and showcases one of my favorites. I saw it once in Google images and loved the look of it. And to boot, Marilyn is the most wonderful woman ever to grace the Earth.

It supports Microsoft Office, which is basically the same thing. I made all the desktop icons myself anyway.

You Can change them - if they are folders only -. But In the Mac, that possibility is easier.

For the Mac, right click on a folder, choose 'Get Info', and a window will pop up with a white box labeled 'Spotlight Comments'. Pick a photo or icon you've made and drag it into that box. The image will appear in the preview for the folder at the bottom.

You want a good, classic horror, check out The Birds. It doesn't need to completely shred up a human, and pay millions in prop blood, nor have faces jump at the camera every few seconds to scare you.

Its the screaming of a woman having her hair pulled out by a crow, the children running into town being attacked by a swarm of birds, and the avifauna themselves digging and scratching through the doors and crashing through the windows with a thirst for human blood that'll get you.

    :)

Note: if you ever see a film sometime in the future titled "Avifauna" it will likely be directed and/or written by me. (Dreams come true, right?)
