showing a mean but truthful streak - DC has a go at the highest paid escort in Hollywood and her pimp mum.

Good interview. Say what you want about Dan but he says things we all think are true too, it is just that no one wants to man up. Congratulations to him and Rachel and let them forever be happy. If he wants his privacy why can't he get it? Just because he is a celebrity doesn't make his privacy any less valuable than the rest of us. I see where his anger about the idiots is coming from. I'd be angry too.
  • I was reading about this on another forum. Let's just say Daniel Craig picked up many more fans today. ;) He tells it like it is, for sure.

Daniel has my respect. Heck I just picked up a pair of sneakers that are similar to what he wore as bond in the madagascar chase in casino royale

    Danny just leveled up lol...

I absolutely hate them (the Kardashians) because they have done absolutely nothing to earn their status in life - they were born into wealth already, and decided to whore themselves to the public to make even more... not one ounce of blood, sweat, or tears went into their success - and yet, there is still a percentage of this country that actually watches that worthless trio, and actually give a damn about what they have to say... and then to make statements about privacy - F that!... you sold your soul long ago, now you deal with whatever gets thrown your way... If you really wanted your own privacy, you could have it - how often is Tom Hanks in the news?.... people like the Kardashians who live their lives in the tabloids get exactly what they deserve...

i agree with Mr Craig 1000%

Craig seems to tell it like it is and I love him for that. Best of us, this man is James Bond!

I bet he fancies Kim though. She has a big booty!

    Bit of useless trivia...

The Kardashian's father - now deceased - was one of OJ Simpson's lawyers during his trial for murder.

Now let's all raise a martini and make a toast to Dan the man for his honest opinion. Spot-on.
  • I almost went into a four word tirade myself when I saw the amount of commercials flashing away and less than interesting immaterial 'celebrity' gossip on the link page

So, Craig got caught out having a bash at something or someone, said a few naughty words and some tabloid makes a big meal of it, sometimes it's good to vent your frustrations and I kind of applaud Craig for his thoughts and feelings on said issue.

You could never imagine say Moore or Dalton having a go in their time with bones of contention they had with anything of the day, at least not to the extremes here or what I can recall

some men are just more blunt than others...

and i don't think he's worried about burning any bridges with Kardashians either lol.

Bravo Dan. The Kardashians are indeed ******* idiots, especially (Miss Universe Drama Queen) Kim.

I honestly can't think of anything more embarassing in the US today.

I'm totally with Craig on this one, I like everything to be said as it is. As much as I don't give a **** about the Kardashians, they're in the same business as him, so he has every right to pass judgement.

He seems like a pretty honest guy. No problems here.
  • On behalf of all Americans in this country, I would apologize for the general stupidity (and stupid people) that has come out from the USA. This would include the Kardashians, Jersey Shore, Al Sharpton, and whomever else that fits.

Do keep in mind, however, that all of us not that stupid. :)>-

I guess I have to apologize on Canada's behalf for Celine Dion and Justin Bieber. Sorry for the deafening, chaps.

Bravo Craig, glad to hear it the way so many of us feel about it.

    P.S. Justin Bieber is horrible

In contrast with my previous comment, Craig (or anyone else, for that matter) merely mentioning the Kardashian name unfortunately brings them publicity- and apparently there's no such thing as bad publicity.

Excellent read. Daniel's comment on them being "****ing idiots" is hilarious.

His interview was very unique, makes him sound like an even more interesting person to talk to, one-on-one, than I previously thought.

Here's a crazy idea: put Kim Kardashian in a Bond film. As herself. But there's a catch - the part is written in such a way that Kardashian is making fun of herself ... but doesn't know it.

    Allow me to explain:

Back when it was annouced that Bond would visit Dubai in Carte Blanche, a lot of people were thinking that the city would be portrayed as Disneyland for grown-ups; a shallow, tacky place that was all style and no substance which Bond would instantly dislike. It didn't happen, but it did get me thinking - where else in the world would Bond find somewhere for which he held utter disdain?

    The answer? Hollywood.

I think Bond would find Hollywood repulsive, and I also think it would make for an interesting setting, especially if we got into the dark underbelly of the place. I'm thinking Mexican drug cartels, celebrity scandals and trendy Scientology-style cults. Putting someone like Kardashian in the role of a spoiled starlet who interferes with Bond's assignment would be a bold move, but one that I think would work really well. The only problem is that the internet would probably take physical form and lambast EON for it.

Kim K is hot as Hell but she has no place in a Bond film in any capacity. Damn, to think all this Kardashian plastering really came from her crappy sex tape with ray-j.
But that's the beauty of it, @doubleoego - it works simply because she doesn't belong.

Anyway, every time I see or hear the name "Kim Kardashian" (or someone else whose name has been mis-spelled with a 'K' instead of a 'C'), I think of this:

Dunno - it comes in a bad moment for them. Kim got bashed badly for her short marriage and they are not in the zenit of their popularity. Guess more and more people really see, how little substance there is and might move on.
  • Wow, I didn't know he'd be that aggressive in real life. Kudos to DC and all the very best to him for SkyFall and all other movies.

I don't think he's natraully aggressive - he just speaks his mind, and he thinks little of the Kardashians.

Too bas that DC needs to slam other folks, even if they are attention seeking crazy people. I am dissapointed he felt the need to add to the attention these folks have these days.
I respect his own fight for privacy but find it strange he needs to disrespect the unwanted privacy some folks do want to have. Some folks love being the center of attention and I say good on them.

It was in an interview for a magazine, I think? He's not the first Bond actor to use a magazine interview to be critical about people. After he was replaced, Brosnan said a few nasty things about Eon in a Playboy magazine interview. Used the f word. Oops.

Daniel speaks his mind, nothing wrong with that, but at least he's not as bad as Jeremy Clarkson. On BBC's One Show he said striking public sector workers should be shot!

Clarkson is crazy or an attention seeker. Or both! ;)

I'm not taking thier side, but dropping no less than 4 f-bombs (much less than usual for him, maybe he had a painful mouth ulcer) doesn't exactly make him any better than them. He could've just kept his mouth shut, or replied by asking: who?. By doing this, isn't he giving them what they crave?
