Serbian actress Ana Alexander was once in the final selection for a role in a James Bond film, according to a new interview with her father.

<a href="http://english.blic.rs/Culture-Showbiz/8197/I-am-proud-of-Ana-its-not-easy-on-her"; target="_blank">Blic</a> reports that "the Internet was flooded with sexually explicit photos and videos of Ana’s appearance in an episode of the television show Chemistry she stars in, the Serbian-born actress is in the centre of media attention." As her father insists, it is nowhere near easy appearing in nude scenes, and said his daughter was “a true professional with my full support”.

Her series "<a href="http://www.cinemax.com/after-dark/chemistry/"; target="_blank">Chemistry</a>" broadcasts on cable channel <del>Skinnymax</del> Cinemax in the USA. The actress also seems to have changed her appearance recently, boosting improved 'assets'.

Speaking about her career, he father said: "It wasn’t easy, but she made it. She pushed her way through slowly but steadily. In South Africa people started recognising her as a fine model, but she believed she would never make it if she didn’t go to the USA and give it a shot there. Her brother is still living in Africa. Ana has had a number of excellent opportunities, but they have all somehow slipped through her fingers. For example, she was in the final selection for a role in a James Bond movie, but ended up doing television shows instead."

Given her age, the movie was most likely "Casino Royale" (2006), and the role could have been <a href="http://www.mi6-hq.com/sections/villains/valenka.php3?t=bond21&s=bond21">Valenka</a>; considering her nationality and look. Valenka was played by Bosnian actress Ivana Milicevic.

Pardon my scepticism - Blic are the ones who ran that interview with what's-her-face claiming that she would be scoring BOND 23, and that it would be based on CARTE BLANCHE.

I think there is not reason to doubt this article and also there is no reason NOT to put it in the "Who cares?" file. I mean, Valenka? She appeared in the movie for about 5 seconds...

I hate it when every woman who appeares in a Bond movie is called a "Bond girl". For me a "Bond girl" is one of the two most important female characters in a Bond film (othar than M, Moneypenny and someone like Rosa Klebb of course).

She is an attractive lady. Nice for her that she gets some nice press.

Speculation and putting this girl down will get you nowhere.
Serbian magazines print what ever they please just to sell their magazine and there are no laws against it there.
The truth is that she did run for the part of Miranda Frost , in Die Another Day, because she was fresh of the boat and had a british accent at the time. ( she lived in South Africa previously) ..how do i know I was assistant to her manager at the time. but she was far to young for the role.

I still think she should be the next "Bond Girl"
