Villain Screams

I think this was discussed a while ago on another forum but I couldn't anything here so thought I'd start a new discussion.
I'm talking about the stock scream that was used in many of the Bond films. Not only, but mostly by villains.
It seems to be in 2 parts.
Take the demise of Gobinda in Octopussy and as an example of the use of both parts. There is the initial "arrrrggggh-ooooooo-aaa!", followed by the shrieking "A-eeeeeeeeeee".

Sorry, can't think of a better way to demonstrate the noises!
I'm sure that you all know the screams that I mean though.
Sometimes only the first or the second scream is used. I thought it would be fun to list them all here.
On some youtube clips people get the scream mixed up with the Wilhelm scream - which it certainly isn't, so let's avoid that here please.
Other people mention it's use in other tv programs and films. I can certainly vouch for that as a couple of months ago I saw an English tv program from the early 80's on ITV4 (cannot remember what it was) and the first half of the scream was used when a criminal, who was being chased in a car by the police, lost control of his car and crashed.

Does anybody know who actually made the screams or when they were first used?
I believe that part of the 2nd scream is used in OHMSS when one of Blofeld's henchmen gets burned with a flame thrower.

They are 2 of the most bizarre screams I have ever heard! As a kid playing about I used to try and mimic them....

Does anyone have a list of all the times this scream is used in Bond? It's popped up quite often.

The greatest scream of all imho is the one in the MR pretitles when that chap receives a kick from Rog's shoe and falls away without a parachute (with a throat clearing scream for the ages). I call it the Glen 'falling man' scream because I think he had something to do with it (I think he was stunt coordinator on that MR stunt). It's the first one in the clip above.

I believe that legendary scream should have been used when Sciarra was thrown out of the helicopter in SP (given it was a homage driven film). Or at least when the pilot was thrown out. Missed opportunity imho.

It's mentioned briefly here. Not sure who does the scream though.

Are the comments about the Hollywood Edge library and mad tantrum correct?

Actually I believe the second half of the scream was first used in OHMSS during the raid on Piz Gloria when Che Che (Grunting gate crashing henchmen) used a flame thrower on one of Blofeld's men.

Am I the only one that finds that scream annoying?

I do too. Mostly because it's overused.

It isn't the Wilhelm scream, listen to both again.
