Rumour: Ana Araujo to be Bond Girl

Not content with having a Rolling Stone for a boyfriend, Brazilian beauty Ana Araujo has landed a “date” with 007.

The South American sizzler, who has worked wonders by s topping Ronnie Wood from boozing, is set to wow the film world as a Bond girl.

Model Ana, 29, is said to be in the running to land the plum role in the long-delayed 23rd Bond flick.

She is up for the coveted slot alongside Hollywood favourites including Pirates Of The Caribbean actress Naomie Harris, 34.

Last night a source close to the aspiring movie star told us: “Ana is really excited.

“It’s all very new to her but she is optimistic about the prospect of landing the role.

“It’s very much a case of watch this space.”

If she is picked for the role she will follow in the footsteps of film beauties such as Halle Berry, 45, and Eva Green, 31.

Last month Ana admitted she was setting her sights on a career in acting and cited current Bond actor Daniel Craig
as her dream co-star.

She said: “I’m now focusing on acting. I’ve got some major roles coming up.

“My ideal role would be to be a Bond girl and with Daniel Craig as my James Bond – he’s perfect and
very handsome.”

Ana has already been credited with saving wayward Wood, 64, from his well-documented drinking binges.

As a result of her influence, the father-of-four has shut down the bar in the garden of his mansion in Clane, County Kildare.

The veteran rocker said: “I used to pour the best pint of Guinness in Ireland.

“But Ana has made me get rid of the booze and turned the place into a coffee bar.”

Ana and Wood met around 18 months ago after he split from former girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova, a Russian waitress, in December 2009.

Earlier this year Ana said of her relationship with the former hell-raiser: “I love him. He’s a great man. He’s very funny, has a great personality and is very smart.

“It’s going very well.”

    of course it's made up... she's OK I guess. I can think of a dozen hotter actresses I'd rather have but that is just me.

    She seems garbage. Look at her standards with who she dates. That's not for the money(sarcasm) I'd hate looking at her on screen. Hopefully this deal doesn't go down.

    Hang on, so she'd like to be a Bond girl. So would my sister, doesn't mean she's going to be one. Slow news day, eh?

    meh at least we get another 007 rumor. Shouldn't we be getting some fake news story that Bond 23 is definitely Risico? or that Fiennes will be playing Ernst Stavro Blofield?

    Do we really need separate threads for each and every rumour surrounding BOND 23? Especially when those rumours are started by tabloids?

    Surely it would be easier to have just the one thread where all rumours can be discussed without cluttering up the forums.

    Do we have a rumour thread? If so I'll post it in there, if not make this that thread. The problem should be solved then.

    what an ignorance!!! first of all the girl in the picture above is not the roonie wood s girlfriend ,the girl in the picture above calls ANA PAULA ARAUJO ,look at google and find out who she is...she is a proper model not a scort like Wood s girlfriend is..
