Why does Bond let Felix take Le Chiffre at the end of the card game in Casino Royale?

At the end of the poker game in Casino Royale, Bond allows Felix and the CIA to take in Le Chiffre. I understand that Bond and Felix made a deal, with Felix giving Bond his buy-in to get back into the game, but how does that work? Wasn't MI6 trying to get Le Chiffre? Why didn't Bond get in trouble with MI6? That's the part I don't understand.

Don't you read the Book novel on James Bond including Casino Royale? Bond couldn't keep Le Chiffre alive. He was in terrible disasters. Mr White killed him. Didn't you see the Quantum of Solace which came after this? This is the most rubbish post I ever seen.

@Agent7F Ummm, I don't think you understood what I asked.

At the end of the poker game, Felix takes Le Chiffre (is supposed to.) Bond's initial mission was to win the poker game, and then MI6 would take him in for, as M says, sanctuary against the people he owed the money to.

Bond loses the game, Felix buys him back in, under the condition that Bond allows the CIA - not MI6 - to take Le Chiffre into custody. So, I'm wondering, why didn't Bond get in trouble for turning Le Chiffre over to the Americans?

Also, it's not nice to insult someone's post as "rubbish," when you're the one making yourself look like a fool...
