    It was just for the film itself as these items do not feature in Fleming's TMTWGG novel.

    No, Lee spoke of his surprise that the black velvet he was drinking was real black velvet. And, now that I just watched it again, he also mentions his surprise that the oysters were real as well.

    That would be actor / stunt performer, Derek Lea.

    Wai Lin has a different "YAH!" when shooting out the stealth ship engines in Spanish. It sounds like an American woman doing an annoyed grunt.The French version contains the original "YAH!", while German and Portuguese listeners get no " YAH!", grunt, or scream of any sort. Also, she does her fighting shouts different in Spanish.

    Her first "YAH!" is not heard in Spanish, is the original in French, sounds more like "HE!" in German, and Portuguese listeners once again get nothing.

    Also, the waiters at Carver's party are all wearing tuxedoes with newspaper headlines.

    And finally: There are a TON of numbers in TND.

    Just noticed that 007 sits in the seventh seat at the meeting in TB after Largo's theft of the Vulcan bombs. Can't believe I never caught that before.

    It took me a long time to notice that Jinx's bikini belt buckle is a "J". Which is a pretty cute detail.
    (It probably took me so long to notice though because I usually avoid DAD like the plague)

    It is one of the first thing I noticed as a child. The thing I noticed last time I watched TB is 006 in that scene. Was it Trevelian or his successor?

    Surprised I never picked up on this line of dialogue in Goldfinger before: I noticed when Bond is on Goldfinger's private jet en route to Baltimore, he asks about his attaché case and is told it was, "destroyed upon inspection." I take it that's a nod to the case he received in From Russia With Love that has a special mechanism to open otherwise it will explode.

    Perhaps it is the suspicion they have of Bond in the scene that gives the impression the device worked to prevent tampering with its contents. I suppose it's up to interpretation unless there is an anecdote to that particular scene in a book or interview.

    I always took it to refer to the attaché case supplied by Q branch in FRWL.
    The response from Bond upon hearing it was damaged when examined suggests he knows someone got hurt or knocked out when it exploded.
    "Apology quite un-necessary."

    It's a little nod to the previous film, but also if the audience are aware of the attaché case gadget, it shows that Bond has lost part of his arsenal in order to stop Goldfinger.

    I indeed always assumed it was 'destroyed' due to Goldfinger's henchmen just taking it apart like @Birdleson says. The link to the FRWL case is made here:jamesbond.wikia.com/wiki/Goldfinger as well.

    I do think it makes perfect sense. So it probably is the same case. Now I can't play back the dvd here at work (nor at home as I have no TV anymore) but is there a scene in GF where we see Bond carrying an attache case?

    The attache case could have been destroyed in the Aston Martin DB5 crash too I suppose. That's what I thought had happened to it.

    There are many of these moments throughout the Bond series. Watch the scene in FYEO between Bond and Lisl and Cassandra Harris pops out of her nightie. :-O

    In OP when Moore kills Ghrishka, there is the Avengers music going on. Or it sounds very similar. I wonder why.
